New Delhi (Press Release): The Supreme Court, on Tuesday, stayed the removal of the jhuggis settled near Pragati Maidan. Justice Ruma Pal and Justice Dalveer Bhandari issued this order, on the petition filed by those affected by the demolition of Nangla Maachi.
The demolition drive follows a 5th April order of the High Court. The next hearing of this case is due on 9th May.
